Lake Anna Outfitters was founded officially 15 years ago when Chris and Chrissie McCotter opened a 220 sq. ft. shop based on the success of their trademarked LKA™ logo and apparel they were selling to area merchants. Over the years they added kayak, paddleboard and canoe rentals, created the Lake Anna Water Trail and affiliated with McCotter’s Lake Anna Guide Service to create as a center of activity for visitors and residents of Lake Anna. In 2024 they moved the shop to a 1,200 sq. ft. facility at Anna Point Marina on Rt. 208.
